• Role - Pou Waho | Taiao Operations Lead

As Pou Waho, my role is to lead our kaupapa in the taiao space — protecting, restoring, and revitalising the environment across Te Kupenga a Kuia. I work to ensure our tikanga is upheld, our places of significance are protected, and our voice as hunga tiaki remains strong. I bring experience from my time with the local council, where I supported iwi–council relationships and kaupapa grounded in te ao Māori. I’m proud to continue this mahi with Ngāti Kuia, alongside whānau, partners, and community, to uphold our role in kaitiakitanga of this rohe. 'Tiakina te taiao, hei oranga mō ngā uri whakatipu.
