Tahua Tuari Tauira | Tertiary Grant
Overview
Supports tauira enrolled in tertiary education, from diploma through to doctorate level. It is for registered Ngāti Kuia whānau pursuing study at a recognised tertiary institution.
Eligibility
To apply for this grant, you must:
- Be a registered member of Ngāti Kuia, and include your Ngāti Kuia Registration Number in your application.
- Provide a National Student Number (NSN) or Student ID number.
- Provide proof of bank account (deposit form or electronic statement).
Key Dates & Deadlines
- Applications Open: 1 February.
- Applications Close: 27 February.
- Payment Date: March.
- Late or incomplete applications may not be accepted.
- Due to high application volumes, please allow time for your application to be processed.
Funding Available
The minimum is $300 but varies depending on the level—one grant per student per year.
