Collaboration and Connection

The Te Hoiere Project members were recently welcomed by Ngāti Kuia for a day of celebration, connection, and learning about the local environment. The event included acknowledgments, language pronunciation, and visits to significant landmarks around Te Hoiere, Ruapaka, Motuweka, and Māhakipaoa. This gathering served as a reminder of the collaborative efforts required to restore the river, and it brought the entire team closer together.
