As Pou Pakihi for Ngāti Kuia, I am proud to lead the management and development of our Titiraukawa enterprises: Ngā Tai Pūrua Native Nursery, Te Hoiere Campground, and the kānuka facility. Each kaupapa is a pathway for Ngāti Kuia to serve the needs of its people, contributing to the wellbeing of hapū, whānau, and iwi. Grounded in the values of Ngāti Kuia, my role is to ensure these operations are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with the aspirations of Ngāti Kuia. It is a privilege to support kaimahi and whānau to grow enduring, meaningful pathways that connect people, place, and purpose. He rangi tā matawhāiti, he rangi tā matawhānui. A person with a narrow vision has a restricted horizon; a person with a wide vision has plentiful opportunities.
