Mark Sheehan was born in Tāmaki Makaurau and is of Irish descent on both sides of his family who moved to NZ in the 1950s

Mark has been living in Whakatū since 2008 and has four children.

He has run his own financial services business since 2008 and holds a degree in finance and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Presently Mark is an independent director of Te Hoiere Asset Holding Company, and also a trustee of the Fifeshire Foundation and the Chair of the Independent financial Advisors Association.

Outside of work Mark enjoys spending time with family and friends, various sports including coaching youth football at FC Nelson.
