Pouako Vacancies | Te Pā Wānanga o Ōmaka Marae

Te Pā Wānanga o Ōmaka Marae is seeking two new pouako to join their kura reo Māori that serves ākonga from Years 0–8. The kura is grounded in the whakapapa, tikanga, and mātauranga of Kurahaupōtanga, and the identity of Rangitāne o Wairau, Ngāti Kuia, and Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō.

Pouako Matua

A dynamic and experienced pouako matua who is fluent in te reo Māori, deeply committed to kaupapa Māori education, and skilled in fostering culturally responsive, Treaty-based learning environments. Position description available by the link below.

Pouako (Scale A Teacher)

A passionate and committed pouako who is fluent in te reo Māori, grounded in kaupapa Māori pedagogy, and dedicated to the success and wellbeing of our tamariki. Position description available by the link below.
